DESCRIPTION:
Juicy, delicious and bright and joyful! This cup is a crescendo of tropical fruit sweetness, floral character and well balanced acidity, with notes of Jasmine Pearl, White Peach and Lemonade. It reminds me of when I was first introduced to Ethiopian specialty coffee, specifically from the Yirgacheffe region. I took a sip, looked at the cup and with both confusion and admiration said "That's more of a juice than a coffee!"

GROW REGION:
The washing station Banko Gotiti bears the name of the town in which it was built, right near the border of Gedeb and Yirga Cheffe. In comparison to any other coffee region in the world, the farmers in the area are growing coffee at very high altitudes, ranging from 1950 to 2200 meters above sea level.

HARVEST PROCESS:
Wet processed (washed) — which gives this coffee its clarity and clean, fruit-forward brightness.
